Yesterday marks the ninth day of Mission Raniganj at the box office, and unfortunately, it has shown a decline in its collection rather than an increase. But the decline was expected as in the second week movie ticket bookings started to decline in most of the cases. Mission Raniganj has earned approx. 0.65 Cr. (Rough Data) yesterday, which is considered quite low in itself.
Akshay Kumar on Mission Raniganj
In this film, Akshay Kumar portrayed the role of Jaswant Singh Gill, a real-life hero and a savior of 71 lives. While talking about the film with the media personnel, he told ANI, “Mission Raniganj is about 71 miners who were trapped three hundred and fifty feet below the coal mine and Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill who was an engineer and was there at that time risked his life. Some people from France and from the UK also came. They all said that it is impossible to get them out, they’re dead because there were almost trillion gallons of water filled below with carbon dioxide sorted filling.”
He also said, “Then there comes a man who decides that I am going to save them. I don’t know if there is any person who knows that it’s sure death still he himself went down and took them out one by one and he himself came last. I have done so many films, this film won’t be a commercial success but I can easily tell you it is the best film of my career…What matters to me is that I have made an honest film.”
Mission Raniganj Collection Day 13
This film was released at the box office last second Friday. The film had an extensive pre-release promotion. In this film, you will see Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles, who are making every effort to captivate the audience with their excellent acting. For various reasons, this film is not being well-received by the audience, and it had a rough start at the box office.
According to estimates, it did not perform as expected on its first day, earning only around 2.8 crore rupees. Although some film reviews had anticipated a strong opening day performance, it turned out to be completely wrong, and the film struggled at the box office on the very first day.
